3-Aminophenol Usage

1. Used as a dye and pharmaceutical intermediate for the manufacture of azo dyes.

2. For organic synthesis.

3. Dyes and pharmaceutical intermediates for the production of anti-tuberculosis drugs, aminosalicylic acid, stabilizers, developers, color films, etc.

4. Meta-aminophenol is an intermediate of fungicides such as rust amines and fluoroamides.

5. Dye intermediates, used in the manufacture of azo dyes, are also used in fur dyes such as brown EG, hairy yellow EG, and so on. A pharmaceutical intermediate for the preparation of an anti-tuberculosis drug, p-aminosalicylic acid. It is also used in the production of antioxidants, stabilizers, color developers, and color films, as well as for hair dyeing.
